Promoted Work: Michel Picard

Michel Picard works behind his own custom filters where he plays with what is revealed and what remains concealed; his figures appear from a dark world of cloud and shadow.

Michel is very much out on his own frontier.

Prints of his work are available. He is based in Berlin; if you are interested in modelling for him, you can contact him directly.

His main site can be found here; I also recommend following his tumblr which he updates regularly.

Promoted Work: Parallelograms by Jeff Enlow

This is the kind of Kickstarter project that flies under the radar; Jeff Enlow shoots beautiful double exposures on 20x24 Polaroid film.

I love this project.

+ Bonus internet points - cats!

If you have any interest in the photographic process, here is a video of the 20x24 Polaroid camera in use; it gives you some insight into just how difficult this project is:

Promoted Work: K. Eleanor Bleier

K. Eleanor Bleier's photography is a documentary of youth at full tilt; there is something that is wonderfully unstructured about how she goes about her work. Her subjects are just fucking living it.

K. Eleanor is from Indianapolis, Indiana but she is currently travelling and living on a farm in Red Rock, Texas. Her main site can be found here and I also recommend following her on Flickr and Tumblr.

Promoted Work: Parallelograms by Jeff Enlow

Jeff Enlow comes across as a quiet and unassuming guy but he's got balls; shooting on 20x24 Polaroid film, at a cost of $500 per picture, takes both a trust in your ability and a belief in your project.

I love his work; go support him on Kickstarter and lets make sure that some of the last remaining film is used on something that we can believe in and not some rich person's vanity project. He's got some good rewards even at the lower levels - this is really worth supporting.

Promoted Work: Parallelograms by Jeff Enlow

Jeff Enlow is working with a rare and near extinct medium, the 20x24 Polaroid film. He has a Kickstarter campaign to help him raise the funds required for this unique but expensive project.

His campaign page does a very good job of explaining the process and what he is trying to achieve; I'll leave you to explore it there.

The 20x24 Polaroid film is non-renewable resource and it would be a tragedy to see it wasted. Jeff has a very clear vision and his beautiful figure studies are a worthy effort for this dying art. Please support this project.
