I love this Kickstarter project; if you are interested in the process of photography then go and support it.
Tabea Borchardt is a young photographer based in Essen, Germany. She works with both digital and film but her imagery always has a analogue and natural style.
The people and places that she captures feel very authentic; I'm really looking forward to seeing more of her work.
Orion Alexis is an amateur photographer born and raised in western Canada; after meeting his future wife he decided to move to Ukraine (her home country). He now works there as a news writer.
His photography captures his life and his travels; it's a mixture of landscape and street photography. He doesn't shy away from ugly landscapes but he has a way of pulling an austere beauty from his images.
I highly recommend following him on tumblr.

Eric Antoine is having an exhibition of his ambrotypes at the Laurence Esnol Gallery, Paris. There is a real quiet beauty to his work.
The show opens this coming Friday. If you're not in Paris then be sure to check out his portfolio on his site and you can also read more details about the show by downloading this PDF (it's very well put together).
This is a really beautiful project; it would be great to see it happen.
Lena Modigh and Matt Ryalls have a Kickstarter for Animæ Magazine Number Two. I fucking loved Number One (that's my copy above). Great photography, illustration and design - it's indie publishing at its best.
Michel Picard works behind his own custom filters where he plays with what is revealed and what remains concealed; his figures appear from a dark world of cloud and shadow.
Michel is very much out on his own frontier.
Prints of his work are available. He is based in Berlin; if you are interested in modelling for him, you can contact him directly.
His main site can be found here; I also recommend following his tumblr which he updates regularly.
