Promoted Work: Maxime Imbert - Portraits Exhibition

This is my kind of exhibition - young photographer shoots great portraits and puts up a solo show in a bar.

There are not many galleries that cater to The Quiet Front's tastes; it's good to see artists getting on with it and organising things themselves.

If you are in London and need an excuse to go out and drink -make sure you swing round; Maxime Imbert's show opens tonight.

Promoted Work: Animæ Magazine Number Two

Animæ Magazine is one of my favorite indie magazines.

The funding of the magazine is open for one more month; I really want to see this project happen (Number One fucking rocked). Every person who backs this will get a public thank you on this site with a small image link to whatever portfolio / creative project you are involved in. Considering that I don't (and never will) take money for advertising / promotions - this is a rare opportunity to reach several thousand people with a relatively minor investment. If you back Animæ then you clearly know your shit - I will be very happy to give you a shout out.

Go and support Animæ Magazine Number Two.

Promoted Work: Parallelograms by Jeff Enlow

Parallelograms: capturing the nude body on instant film.

This is a fantastic project; I've been putting up posts since the campaign first started .

Jeff has only got a few days to go and still has some work to do but his goal is very achievable.

If you do support this project then you clearly have great taste and believe in supporting your fellow artists - On Sunday, I will give a shout out to you on this blog and put a link to whatever it is that you are into.

Go and support a great project.

Promoted Work: Daniel Dorsa

Daniel Dorsa is a young photographer with a great eye for everyday life. His work is a mixture of street photography and portraiture with a bit of skating in the mix. His documentary style draws a picture of a photographer with a real interest in life as it unfolds in front of him.

You can find his main site here and a really great Tumblr here

Daniel recently went on a trip to Cuba where he found places in the process of losing their authenticity; a parallel that he sees in his home state of Florida.
