Promoted Work: Rosabel Martínez Pinzón

Rosabel Martínez Pinzón is a young photographer from Bucaramanga, Colombia. Her work is intentionally undefined, giving it an ephemeral quality.

She is a photographer working right out on the edge of meaning; it'll be very interesting to see where she goes with it.

She is currently exhibiting work in her college graduate show and she'll also be exhibiting in late August at the Cuba Biennial. She often displays her work in unconventional ways; like printing her images into the large mirrors used to monitor buildings and public places - she likes to see how people interact with her work.

Promoted Work: Transmission Magazine - Transparency

Transmission is everything to me. It’s like I’ve cut open my heart and bled it to paper
— Dylan Forsberg

What the fuck is going on here? If there was ever a project that our community should be getting behind, this would be it.  Dylan Forsberg is an underrated artist who's put everything into publishing a new collection of his writing and photography.

It would be great to see this happen. The magazine itself is a great reward and you can also get hold of prints of his work. Support this project

Promoted Work: Transmission Magazine Issue 02

I’ve also included intimate portraits of my close friends and muses. The idea is to make them feel familiar to you all. I want you to be able to look into their eyes and feel that you know them… I want you to feel a part of something, rather than as if you’re staring at some far-off, unattainable world.
— Dylan Forsberg

Dylan Forsberg has launched a Kickstarter to fund the next issue of Transmission Magazine.

I still consider Dylan Forsberg to be one of the most underrated photographers of this generation; I have a deep respect for the approach he takes to his work.

Support this magazine; it's important

Promoted Work: Michael Barolet – Silver and Carbon

Unlike so many nude photographs that get shown, my photographs are not about being nude. My photographs are about the people in the photograph. Without clothing, there is nothing for them to hide behind. There is nothing for them to be classified by. They are who they are. And that is beautiful.
— Michael Barolet

Michael Barolet is having his exhibition Silver and Carbon @ Create Studios in Brighton, England.

Michael shoots intimate portraits of his homeland, family and his closest friends. His photographs are left unfiltered with no post processing; his goal is to get an unmodified and unadulterated view of life.

The show opens on 1 August. If you are not in the United Kingdom, I recommend visiting his site; he's a fantastic photographer.

For those that are able to go to the exhibition, the gallery can be found here:

Promoted Work: Models in the Morning - Photo Tour

Models in the Morning is the brainchild of photographer and filmmaker Asher Moss. Asher captures models in their most stripped down moment: first thing in the morning, before the clothes and the make-up. His style is very natural and very analogue (he still shoots with film).

Asher has been renovating a sixties trailer and restoring a 1970 Ford pickup truck with a dream of taking his project on the road. He is offering some great rewards for your support and, most importantly, he is building a backers only platform to follow the intimate details of the trip (open to all backers, even if it's just $1).

I've put my money down to get a look at the short films that will accompany each model's shoot; it's a great idea.
