I've spent the last three years in the Swaziland bush and have just returned home. In the last year of my stay, I would drive down to the hotel at the border with South Africa to get a strong enough 3G signal to build my site; I was subjected to the worst "popular music" that was piped in from one of the South African radio stations. It was fucking awful.

Last night my friend Samuel introduced me to The xx (I love them) and it's made me wonder what else I have been missing in regard to good independent music. Please enlighten me @thequietfront.
