The Quiet Front has received some amazing support from readers and artists, thanks!

We are going to be launching original content in 2014. I've spoken to a few artists and I hope to connect with many more - I'll be inviting them to create work to be published in a monthly ebook; at the end of each year we'll compile these into a beautiful coffee table book.

The premise of these books is very simple: Artists do whatever the hell they want. I'm not going to be dictating the content; each artist is going to decide the form of their story, who they are going to work with, how long or short it is and what medium they use. I want them to do the work they love.

My job will be to find the right mix of artists for each book; I want to see artists working on different ideas and from different parts of the world. I want to be surprised by each book.

I'll discuss why we'll be going totally independent and why we won't be publishing on Amazon, Apple's iBooks or anybody else's platform. I'll talk about my intentions for pricing, artist compensation, copyrights, DRM (hint: it's bullshit) and advertising (hint: it's total fucking bullshit).
