Zakaria Wakrim has just published his full series Amarg on his website.
The series is of the archetypal lone figure in the wilderness; it captures a yearning for travel through these immense landscapes. The images were shot in the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara Desert; the name of the series comes from the Amazigh/Berber word for nostalgia.

Zakaria Wakrim is a very skilled photographer; he shoots a lot of great travel pictures and portraits but the images that really stand out to me are his solitary figures humbled by quite extraordinary landscapes.
